DAS BOGDAN OTA- FORTE

This man is a marvel, both in his musical history, and in his performance. He started out working in Norway for a copy machine company, went to play at Norway's Got Talent, and here he is in his home country- Romania.

His home country at first turned him down at Romania's Got Talent, but they atoned for their folly by welcoming him home and keeping him incessantly busy.

ENJOY

His first, or near first, performance was on local TV.

Then, Bogdan went on to this:
FESTIVALUL MANGALIA on the Black Sea
Note the Arabesque over tones of the second number.

It is good to learn that there are still artists who came up from common roots and carried the crowds into reverie. May Bogdan live to bring happiness to many people.

DAS SHOVEL

This is an electronic shovel and broom, and it is too cool to pass up.

The original video was dropped from YouTube, so I went down town and found something better

DAS STRANGE

This is very crafty, and it is very far over the edge. Where next? Just when I think the music and technology geeks are maxed out, here comes the next wave.

FINALLY, DAS PACHELBEL I CAN TOLERATE

Long ago my oldest son was taking piano lessons. I was delighted. I am a piano tuner, and it was a great boost to my self-esteem for one of my sons to be playing the piano.

All went well for some time. We finally got to Santa Lucia, and that was real music. What progress. And then the music teacher assigned my son to play Canon in D by Pachelbel. It should be called Canon in Duh? What Gothic magnificent boredom.

I thought my son was stuck on a tough part and playing it over and over to master it. So, I asked him to go ahead and try to play the whole song and come back to the tough part later. "But Dad, that is the whole song."

I told him no composer should take credit for such a mess-- such vain repetition. Then my son told me, "But Dad, Pachelbel was Johann Sabastian Bach's piano teacher. I told him the it was a good thing Pachelbel died so Bach had to learn to play real music.

Thus, I give you some real entertainment based on Pachelbel's Canon in D.
