MY FATHER
This is to special to pass up just because I do no understand the words. It is clearly a song of love for the singer's father.

DAS STANLEY BLACK
One of the best pop orchestras of all time. This is the music for the background when you need to coast for a while.

DAS HOT ROD LINCOLN
We had two older Lincolns, '70s era. Those monsters are like driving off in your living room compared to modern cars. I knew an Indian (from India) American who kept all his book keeping on the dash of his Lincoln. That way, when the IRS came knocking, he could slip out back and drive over into Mexico for a short visit while the Feds looked for him.
Thus, a musical tribute to the Lincoln.

SAD SONG FROM ALBERTA, CANADA
Cowboy songs are all too often sad. Life is going great, and then one day tragedy strikes out of the blue. That is the way it was before we had our nanny government killing us slowly by poisoning us with city water, deadly food additives, and Big Pharma drugs.
I just got a phone call this morning from CVS drug store trying to convince me to get my flu shot-- you know, the one that the CDC has actually said does not work this year-- the one that is laced with mercury as a preservative.
I would rather take my chances on the mercy of my God and the wide open places of Texas.

DAS WILLIS CONOVER-- AMERICAN JAZZ ICON
If you do not know who Willis Conover is, please learn about this man. He did more to melt the ice of the Cold War than any other American.
HERE IS MY ARTICLE ON HIM
AT Blessed Quietness Journal
The Conover part of the article is after the BBC discussion.
